Jóansøka is a regional festival, which is held every second year in Vágur and every second year in Tvøroyri. Even years in Vágur, and odd years in Tvøroyri. The main attractions are on Saturday 26th of June, but there will be activities all weekend from Friday 24 June to Sunday 26 June. The rowing comptetition will be on Saturday, starting with the children's rowning at around 1 in the afternoon. There will be art exhibitions, activities for children, a consert on Saturday evening down at the harbour in a tent, live music and dancing in the tent, on the Sailloft and in the club Tvøroyrar Klubbi.
